Projects

A summary of projects follows with a link to a detailed page on each.

This mural was commissioned by the Town of Collingwood in partnership with Streetcar Developments and the Collingwood Museum. It’s 100 feet long and 8 feet high so hard to absorb all in one glance!

This mural is about the history of Collingwood, in particular the railway which transformed us from a small fishing village called Hen and Chickens Harbour to a major port on the Great Lakes, and the museum building which is a replica of the 1873 train station.

Check out the Sunset Chronicles Project Page for all the details including images of sections of the mural. Or if you’re in the Collingwood area, take a walk along Huron Street across from the museum..

The objectives for this mural were to assist in the placemaking and beautification of the Wasaga Beach downtown with positive and optimistic imagery that contributes to the “sense of place” that is unique to Wasaga Beach.

It was also important that the artwork “embrace Wasaga Beach’s culture, history, and overall brand …and foster connections among people and across cultures”.
